What we collect, why we collect it, who helps us handle it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do.

Last updated: October 4, 2026.

The short version

  • We collect what you type into our forms, what you buy, what you tell our team, and a little about your visit.
  • We use it to build and send your reports, run your plan, take your payment, answer you and follow up.
  • Our reports look at businesses from the outside: Google search and Maps, reviews, websites, directories and AI answers. That is public information about businesses.
  • We do not sell your information. Mobile numbers and text opt-in data are never shared with anyone for marketing.
  • Companies that work for us handle parts of it, such as Stripe for payments, Cloudflare for hosting, Resend for email and Twilio for calls and texts. The full list is below.
  • The ad tags from Meta and Google load only if you click OK on our cookie notice, and we tell them about a purchase only if you did.
  • Email admin@lighthousepro.ai to see, correct or delete your information. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts.

Who we are

Lighthouse Pro, LLC ("Lighthouse Pro", "we", "us") is the company behind lighthousepro.ai. We check how local service businesses show up online, and we sell reports and plans about it. This policy covers our website, our reports and plans, and the calls, texts and emails between you and our team.

What we collect, and where it comes from

When you ask for a Free report

The form asks for your business name, your trade, your city or ZIP, your email, your business phone and your website (or that you do not have one yet). You can also add your Facebook or Instagram page. We keep what you typed and the report we build from it, with the internet address (IP address) the request came from.

When you order a Visibility report or a Market report

The order form asks for your email and your business details: name, trade, your city or ZIP (for a Market report, your state and, if you like, your ZIP), website and business phone. For a Visibility report you can place the points on a map where we check your ranking. For a Market report you choose your service area on a map, and we keep its zip codes. You can also add searches for us to check and up to five competitors to follow, by name or by their Google Maps link. If you ask the assistant on your Market report a question, we keep your question and its answer, so we can check that its answers are right. Anyone who has your report's link can read them on the report.

When you start a plan

The checkout asks for your email, your business name, your trade and your city or ZIP. While you have a plan, we also keep the choices you make in it, such as the competitors you follow, which of our emails you want, and, on Pro, your second market. If you ask the assistant on your dashboard a question, we keep your question and its answer, so we can check that its answers are right.

When you pay

Stripe takes your payment on its own secure page. You type your card details into Stripe, not into our site, and we never see or store your card number. We send Stripe your email and the details of your order, including the business details above. Stripe tells us what you bought, the amount and whether the payment went through. For a plan, Stripe keeps your card on file to charge each month until you cancel.

When you sign in

Anyone who bought a report or a plan can sign in with their email. We email a sign-in link that works once and stops working after 30 minutes. When you use it, we set a cookie that keeps you signed in on that browser for 30 days. When you buy a plan, the page you come back to from checkout can sign you in on the same browser, without a link, for one day. We note the internet address that asked for each link, to stop abuse.

When you use the contact form

We collect your name, business name, trade, city, email, phone and message, and the page that sent you to the form. Your message is emailed to our team and kept in our records, with your internet address and the type of browser you used.

When you talk with our team

We keep a record of each call: the phone numbers, the time, how long it lasted, and our notes about what was said. Some calls are recorded. Whether a call is recorded depends on the state the business is in. Voicemails you leave for us are recorded too. Our team uses recordings for training and to check the quality of our calls, and a manager may listen in on a call for the same reasons. We also keep the texts you send us and the texts we send you, and your emails to us stay in our inboxes.

Public information about businesses

Our reports look at businesses the way a customer finds them: Google search and Google Maps results, business listings and their reviews, business websites, online directories such as Yelp and the BBB, state license records, who is advertising on Google, and the answers that AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI Mode give. When an AI assistant shows the web pages it used, or ads, with its answer, we keep those links and names with the answer. Your report shows the pages the assistant used and the names of any advertisers; we never show or open ad links. This is information anyone can see online. A report about your business also shows your competitors, and a Market report lists the businesses we find in the zip codes you choose, with what we found for each.

We keep records of local businesses built from these public sources, and the businesses a Market report finds are added to them. The records can include the names, phone numbers and email addresses that businesses and their owners publish, for example on their own website, a directory listing or a license record. Reviews are kept as they appear online, with the name each reviewer shows. Our team uses these records to find businesses to call or email about our reports.

When you visit our site

  • Cloudflare hosts our site, so every visit reaches Cloudflare with your internet address and the details your browser sends, such as its type. Cloudflare also counts visits to our pages for us, such as which pages are viewed.
  • We use your internet address to limit how many requests one address can send to our forms and to the pages of your reports, and we keep those counts for about a day.
  • The first time you visit, your browser keeps a note of how you first arrived for 90 days: the page that sent you, the page you landed on, and any campaign tags in the link, such as the ad you clicked. The note stays in your browser, not in a cookie. It is sent to us with a Free report request or an order, so we know which pages and ads bring customers.
  • When you send one of our forms or tap our phone number, our site notes that it happened, the page you were on, and where you came from, such as a Google search, an ad or another website. For a form, the note includes the name, email and phone you typed.
  • When you open one of your reports (a Visibility report, a Market report or your plan's page), we count the times its link is opened and note when it was last opened, and keep both with the report. Nothing kept with the report says who opened it or from where.
  • Cloudflare's Turnstile checks that our report and plan forms are sent by people, not bots.
  • The maps on our order pages and in our reports load their map pictures from OpenStreetMap, which sees your internet address the way any website you visit does.

How we use it

  • To build your reports and send them to you, and to run your plan and send its emails.
  • To take payments, confirm your orders and keep a record of what was bought.
  • To sign you in.
  • To answer your messages and help you.
  • To follow up. Our team can see free report requests and orders, and may call your business about them.
  • To keep our forms safe from abuse and bots.
  • To learn which pages and ads bring customers, and to make our reports better.
  • To keep a record of the Services Agreement you accepted at checkout: which version it was and when you accepted it.

Who else handles it

We do not sell your information, and we do not trade or rent it. These companies handle it to do work for us, and each gets what its part of the work needs.

Payments, hosting, email and alerts

  • Stripe takes payments and keeps the payment records. It gets your email, your card details (typed on its own page) and the details of your order.
  • Cloudflare hosts our site, our database and our stored files, including call recordings and backups. It also counts visits to our pages and provides Turnstile, the bot check on our report and plan forms.
  • Fly.io hosts spare copies of the computers that build our reports, and some reports are built there.
  • Resend sends the emails our site and systems write: your reports, sign-in links, order emails, plan emails and our team's emails to businesses, and the contact form messages it passes to our team.
  • GoDaddy hosts our team's email inboxes, where your emails to us arrive.
  • Discord carries our team's internal alerts, such as a new order or an email that could not be delivered. An alert can include a business's name and a customer's email address.

Calls and texts

  • Twilio carries our phone calls and text messages.
  • RealPhoneValidation checks whether the business phone numbers on our call lists are still in service.

Building our reports

  • ScrapingBee does the Google and DuckDuckGo searches, map searches and AI assistant questions our reports need, and loads business websites and directory pages for us. It gets the business name, trade, place and website, and in some searches the business phone.
  • DataForSEO provides Google Maps results, business listing details, reviews and who is advertising on Google. It gets search phrases, places, business names and website addresses.
  • Keywords Everywhere tells us how often phrases are searched and how strong a website's links are. It gets search phrases and website addresses.
  • DeepSeek, OpenAI and Anthropic provide AI models that help us read business websites and listings, and pick the right Google listing when a business's details do not match one on their own. They get business details, such as the name, place, website and phone, and the text of the pages we read.
  • TypeSafe provides an AI model that helps us decide whether a directory listing belongs to a business, and whether a business on a map is a competitor in its trade. It gets business names, towns, trades, website addresses, Google categories and the public text of directory listings, never a phone number, an email or a street address.
  • Anthropic also provides the assistant on a plan's dashboard and on a Market report. When you ask it a question, Anthropic gets your question and the information about your business and your market it needs to answer, such as your rankings, your reviews and your competitors' public details. On a Market report, that information comes only from that report.
  • Google checks how fast a business's website loads (it gets the website address) and hosts the booking page for walkthroughs with our team.
  • The U.S. government's public address lookup places a business's street address on the map for the Free report. It gets the street address shown on the business's Google listing, and nothing about you.

Maps and ad measurement

  • OpenStreetMap provides the map pictures on our pages.
  • Meta provides the Meta pixel, and Google provides the Google tag. Both load only if you click OK on our cookie notice, and we report a purchase to them only if you did, as described under "Cookies, browser storage and ad tags" below.

We also share information when the law requires us to.

Cookies, browser storage and ad tags

Our own cookies. We set cookies of our own only to sign you in. The sign-in cookie keeps you signed in on that browser for 30 days, or for one day when the page you come back to after buying a plan signs you in. When you check out to buy a plan, we also set a cookie that lets that page sign in the same browser (none when you only hold a place on the waiting list). Only our sign-in reads it, and it lasts about a day.

Browser storage. Our pages also keep a few small notes in your browser's storage, which is not a cookie, such as how you first arrived (see above), your answer to our cookie notice, which parts of a report you opened or closed, and the progress of a checkout while you are in it.

Ad tags. Most of our pages, including our ad landing pages and our order pages, can load the Meta pixel and the Google tag while our ads are running. They load only after you click OK on our cookie notice. If you click No thanks, they never load, and your browser remembers your answer. They never load on this page, on our terms, or on any report. Once they load, Meta and Google set their own cookies and learn which of our pages you visit and whether you asked for a Free report, started a checkout or bought, so they can count and improve our ads. To change your answer later, clear this site's data in your browser and the notice will ask again.

Purchase reports. We tell Meta or Google about a purchase from our own server only if you had chosen OK on our cookie notice when you went to checkout. If you chose No thanks or never answered, we send them nothing about that purchase. When you had chosen OK and you buy a Visibility report, a Market report or both reports in one order, our server may tell Meta that the purchase happened, with the amount, your email address in a scrambled form (a one-way code that Meta can match to its own users but cannot turn back into your address), and the ad's click code if you came from a Meta ad. With OK, if you came from a Google ad, we also set aside a record of the sale with that ad's click code, to report it to Google Ads later. We never report a plan purchase from our server. Whatever you answer, the note of how you arrived, including any ad's click code, still goes with your order and stays in its record (see "When you visit our site" above).

Text messages

If you ask us during a phone call to text you information, or you text one of our numbers first, we text you at that number about what you asked for, and we reply to your texts. Mobile phone numbers and text messaging opt-in data are never shared with, sold to, or disclosed to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Message frequency varies and is typically low. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP, or get assistance by replying HELP or emailing admin@lighthousepro.ai. The program's details are in section 11a of our Services Agreement and on our SMS opt-in page.

How long we keep it

  • The link to a Free report works for 30 days from the day it is built.
  • The link to a Visibility report works for 30 days, and the link to a Market report works for 90 days.
  • A sign-in link works once and stops working after 30 minutes. The sign-in cookie lasts 30 days, or one day when the page after a plan purchase signed you in. The cookie set when you check out to buy a plan lasts about a day.
  • Call recordings are kept for 13 months and then deleted, unless one is needed for a legal matter.
  • Questions you ask the assistant, on a plan's dashboard or on a Market report, and its answers, are kept for 12 months and then deleted, even after the report's link stops working.
  • The counts of requests from each internet address are cleared after about a day.
  • When a link stops working, the information behind it is not deleted. We keep your requests, orders, reports, messages, call notes and texts in our records, so we can help you later and keep our business and tax records. Ask us to delete them and we will, except records we must keep, such as payment records.
  • We make a backup of our records every night and keep the backups. Older copies of a record stay in them after the record itself is deleted.

Your choices

  • See, correct or delete your information. Email admin@lighthousepro.ai from the address you used with us and tell us what you want. We will do it, except for records we must keep, such as payment records. Stripe keeps its own records of your payments, and older copies stay in our backups.
  • Emails. A Free report comes by email, with a second email when the AI answers are in, and we do not email you anything else unless you ask. Every plan email has a link at the bottom to choose which ones you get or to stop them all, and every alert email has a link to stop alerts. Emails about your orders, your payments and your plan itself still come.
  • Texts. Reply STOP to any text from us.
  • Calls. Ask us not to call you again and we will add your number to our do-not-call list.
  • The cookie notice. Click No thanks and the ad tags never load. To change your answer, clear this site's data in your browser.
  • Your browser. You can block or delete cookies and site data at any time. Signing in needs our sign-in cookie.

Keeping it safe

We keep our records with Cloudflare and Fly.io and on our own computers. Our site only loads over a secure connection (HTTPS). Sign-in links work once and stop working quickly. Report links are long random codes, but anyone who has a report's link can open that report, so share it only with people you trust. Call recordings can only be played by our team, after signing in.

Children

Our site and our services are for businesses. They are not meant for children, and we do not knowingly collect information about children.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we change the date at the top of this page.
